It is by the farm.

It's a bit od hat now isn't it? The song must be twenty years old at least. It's a sad indictment of the modern day music that the FA couldn't get a decent anthem out of todays crop of musicians. Apparently The Blazin' squad were approached to do something but the result was so awful they had to drop it and that's why The Farms old hit got the nod. Personally I think they should have funked up Three lions, nowt wrong with that lad.

Agree with all that apart from the three lions bit, fit's into the old hat catagory too IMO my channel island chum.

Did you see Later last night? g.gif
Panja

That's why I said 'funk it up' a little my Angwermering friend.

Shite, I forgot about Later. Is it on later tonight as well?

not sure Strett, they didn't repeat it a couple of weeks back so probably not.
Faithless were terrific, never really given them the time of day before but listening to them live they create an impressive sound.

What are your thoughts on Graham Coxon?

my thoughts on him are lmfao.gif lmfao.gif post-22-1082658301.gif sleep1.gif

also they had Tom Jones and Bobby Womack on the same show, the echoes of those too will be heard around that studio for years to come mate.
MicK
Surely this should have been England's song for 2004?

That was The Blazin' squads entry.

Graham Coxon is much lauded by our friend and absentee Mr Gidley, Suss. I didn't know until recently that he was the voice behind one of my favourite Blur tracks 'Miss America' (off Modern life is rubbish). The boy has potential methunks.

I was cringing with embarrasment watching him last night,he drift's somehwere between Jarvis Cocker and Billy Bragg but isn't fit to be mentioned in the same breath as those two,so I don't know why I did. dunno.jpg
