Just rooting through some old stuff to chuck out now the season is properly over and I have time on my hands. Found 4-4-2 (that contained the Robbie Savage interview) and scanned the pre-season preview brochure.

Their table was:

For some reason, no-one was expected to finish 16th.

So, worst prediction = Bolton, by the looks of that lot. It goes to show what the media expected of Blackburn and Everton, who both showed promise in 2002/3. our 13th of 02/03 didn't impress anyone, but they did concede we would be aiming for a top ten finish.

Good spot for Leeds and less amazingly for Wolves!
