It is reported on Sky Sports News this morning that Blackburn Rovers have pulled out of the 'race' to sign Rangers' captain Barry Ferguson after having a second bid turned down!
Seems to leave the way clear for Everton - if they'll pay the asking price!

I must admit, I do like Ferguson, though I think we've got midfielders coming out of our arse at the moment.
Unless we play a 1-9-1 then I can't see much point in going for him!
