At the Bridge over the river Trent.
Inja won the toss and elected to swim in the outfield first on another seamer's paradise.
I've had a few bob on a 0-0 series result due to the weather and poor bowling of both teams (OK so they look a lot more threatening with the ball moving about but that's down to the weather more than the skill of the bowlers isn't it?).
Engerland currently 95-3. It's starting to warm up, the Injuns are down to just four pullovers..

If there was a ever a time for a century from Ian Bell then surely this is it...154 for 6....not looking too clever for England at present..!!

I'm a romantic cricket fan at heart and was a tad sad that probably the greatest batsman that has ever lived, Sachin Tendulkar didn't get a maiden test century at Lords last week?
As Panj has a soft spot (on a length just outside off stump) for Muttiah Muralitheran, I consider 'The Little Master' to be a batsman that I'd happily pay to watch spanking our very ordinary bowling atack all over the shop, the store room at the back and even the customer car park.

With the little master currently on 57 NO and India going great guns at 200 odd for 3 I think Panja will be praying for rain of biblical proportions for the sake of his audatious bet?
Come on Sachin

If the pitch stays dry and the overcast clouds dissipate I think that the Bridge over the river Trent pitch will stay a batting paradise until late into the fourth day, ensuring BetPanja.co.jersey stays in the money until test three..
Sachin Tendulkar is a spent force. His highest score before this match in the last two years were against Bangladesh, who are about as troublesome as an Archbishop Grimshaw XI.
I could get runs against that bowling attack.

Tendulkar currently on 75 NO and Air India currently cruising at 316 feet for just 3.
It looks as though PanjaChandler.com won't have to fly economy for a while yet?

Injuns all out for 481, giving them a lead on first innings of 283!
It's backs to the wall and roll up the sleeves for England in the second innings!

A double century from 'any English batsman' will go down very well over the next day or so,as the rain doesn't look like its going to cascade down for hour after hour in Nottingham in the early part of the week..!

Having lost Cooke in the first ten minutes this morning, Strauss and Vaughan had restored some stability and belief, taking England to 130 before Strauss gave his wicket away just after lunch, giving a catch to Doni off Zaheer Khan, swiping at a wide one outside the off stump.
Which Pietersen have we got today? England still trail by 153 with 2 down, and need a couple of major innings from the remaining batsmen.

175 for 3 now. Still 108 runs behind.
If there's to be a big knock it won't be from Pietersen, out for just 19 (lbw when not playing a shot to one that pitched outside the line!) when England needed so much more from him.

At Tea on Day 4 it's 221 for 3, with England trailing by 62.
Vaughan is on 94 and Collingwood on 13

"They think it's all over"
Injuns want only 73 to win and are 10-0 at stumps, with a day to play and (almost sadly) no prospect of rain to wash out the final day and save England, the way that the Injuns were saved in Test 1.

There goes my 0-0 bet for a ball of chalk, then?
I'm surprised Ingerland got this close really. To think that the bowling attack that won us the Ashes just two years ago are now all absent, making this current squad practically our B team..

Winning the Ashes seems a long long way away now !,but we batted poorly in the first innings and our bowing when India got in was well short of test match standard, give that it was always an uphill struggle to save the test and as pointed out the 'the rain' never came to save us..!

Ach, it's a sad case of affairs when we are relying on the weather to save us at home to India Sid?
What we need is a spent force like Sachin Tendulkar or summat

Ach, 4 innings, 144 runs at an average of 36, 91 of those coming at the Bridge over the river Trent where the wicket was flatter than a pancake being sat on by Giant haystacks, Big Daddy, and Mick (ask him, ref, ask him) McManus..
Pah..
