£617 minus the VAT. So you have to rip CD's onto it, is that what it's saying?

Yes, I saw it in an advert in this month's Uncut, which landed on my door mat this morning. It's too expensive and it has got enough storage (yet?) but I think it and systems like it are the future. But, my soundbridge does the same thing for £40. As long as you have a computer and wireless network.

It does right at the bottom 'Up to 50x high speed music file transfer' which would suggest it can upload from existing files. I wonder if it recognises media players, Zens and suchlike?

I may be forced to go and have an investigational browse at Euronics, Jersey's music store store for the more discerning fan and pretentious gobshites..

In the advert in Uncut it has an Ipod dock so There's no reason why it wouldn't work with other MP3 players. It also says that you can us it wirelessly with up to 5 sets of speakers in diferent rooms so it also ought to except incoming wireless music from a PC.

Looks the dog's to be honest. I've never been a techie gotta have the latest gizmo type of bloke but i could do with something small and compact like that so i don't have to keep getting up to change the CD. My PC speakers are shit so i don't play much through them. Rather like the mood setting, it'll save having to listen to Steve Wright's love songs show on Sundays now just so I can hear Roberat Flack and Joan Armatrading in the same hour..
