Well, England have f*cked up their innings there, then.
99 all out. LOL - almost worth it to see their faces as they listen to the Stanford Allstars ringing up to get their luxury car brochures.
Unless Harmison and Flintoff can get 5-20 each, tis all over...

I see Mr Benn took 3 wickets, the crazy drug-addled second hand clothing shop owning muddy funkster.
Is anyone watching it, or is it regular updates from the good old interweb?

3 overs bowled 22 runs scored.
Time to put the Ferrari brochures away lads...

What an anticlimax...
Anticlimax is the right word - even Big Al must have been hoping for a hard fought and close victory for the Superstars, not that capitulation by the England team.
England bowled out for 99, then the ragbag outfit knock off the runs inside 13 overs without losing a wicket.
Total embarrassment.

True Scoobs, but I have to say the All Stars bowled beautifully. Besides, this match had no real significance for anyone other than the participants; it was curio if ever there was one.

I agree BP and if we lost with a fight then fine but it was gutless.....Pietersens throw back to the keeper in the second over summed our performance up.....
And good luck to those all stars who have mainly come from a poor up bringing.....they will appreciate the money more

I watched our "Innings" and then turned over, to be fair, upon reflection, I'm glad England lost. They weren't playing for England last night, they were playing for themselves, so really I don't know why we should be all that bothered that they lost?
I have to say that I was a little nonplussed by just how frenzied the local elements of the crowd got as the victory became more and more obvious.
OK, the Stanford PR machine had no doubt ratcheted up the atmosphere as much as possible, but they had shots of the crowd getting really emotional.
One lady was sobbing uncontrollably, tears streaming down her fizzog - but unless she was the recent ex-girlfriend of one of the Superstars team, I fail to see quite why she was so overcome. It's isn't as if Chris Gayle(*) is going to share out his $1 million with 1,000 crowd members, is it?
(*) Other recent US$ millionaire Stanford Superstar team members are available for comparison purposes.
Still, this England team isn't as pathetic as the one that has just rolled over for a tummy tickle from the Aussie Rugby League side in their World Cup group fixture.

I saw her, maybe she is the girlfriend / wife of one of the players, who was about to win a life changing amount of money?
