Birmingham City > Brumsnumberone > General Sport

Reports on sky sports news saying that the rest of England's tour of India maybe called off due to trouble in Mumbai

3 people have been killed 25 injured from terrorists shootings and a hotel that England have already stayed in as been set alight.

Bring them back and end the embarrassment

The final two pointless ODI games have been cancelled already, which is a shame as I think we had the Injuns really worried there..

The England team have come home then? That's put paid to the test series no doubt as there is absolutely no way that they'll return in the current climate, that being warm and sunny with outbursts of shrapnel and the occasional raining of bullets.

Anybody up for thinking of a good title for the upcoming West Indies tour?

The Windies vs The Wendies?

Well, it's a start.

If only the skipper was called Reg, we could have had The Reggae Boys vs Reg's Boys.

Have we got a Reg?
Panja

Not since Varney drove the tour bus...

If only we still had Tuffnell. We could have called it The Dope Smokers vs The West Indies.

According to some press reports the two tests still remain on England's itinerary the one on the 11th December in Ahmedabad but the second one in Mumbai is to be moved....suppose they will see how the sutiation unfolds in the next week or so before a definite decision will be made ?

Smudger me ol' mucker, if those tests go ahead I will eat my hat, which luckily for me is made from melted down toblerome..

It ain't happening. Imagine being the wife of one of the players and your husband has been told he's got the option of a)playing a test match in terrorism torn India on the 19th December, which if it goes the full five days will end on the 23rd, or b)Spend time with the family leading up to Christmas?

Yes...I can picture the scene...high on your balcony gazing out down at the sea lapping the shores, a bottle of champagne on ice listening to Planty and the lads blast out Whole Lotta Love on your MP4 player as you prepare to tempt your taste buds with your melted down toblerome....mm...how the other half live....!!
