If anyone is looking for one, I would highly recommend it.

My wife inadvertently bought me a Bose docker for my birthday last year, part of a package with the ipodular classic and a set of Bose in-ear headphones thrown in. The sound is so good I threw my stereo away on the strength of it.

Im liking the look of that one Daren, we use the dvd player and surround sound in the lounge, then we have a jbl alarm clock in the bedroom and a portable jbl one for the conservatory or garden or beach etc etc, like Panj the stereo is long since binned.

We looked at the Bose ones but there is no radio with them and we don't have a radio in the living room.

This has DAB+ which is the future... apparently!

Funnily enough, and it is, honestly, I picked this one because it hasn't got a radio. My house is sublimely Moyles-free..

bliss..

I bought an el cheapo one a year a so which I can happily describe as the best dust collector in my house. With the glorious Spotify and having the home PC connected up to some rather nice speakers (Bose - good choice Panja), there's no need to have your own tunes anymore is there?

I only use the iPodular in the car, and one of those lovely FM transmitters does me proud.

Didn't think much of the punchline Ljunki, but it's still better than one of Scooby's 'jokes'.

I am looking for a docking station that is portable so can take from room to room, or in the garden etc..... Any tips?

There are a couple of Bose ones that are portable that are supposed to be decent.

They are for sale in the Apple shop or Currys/Comet type places...
