Quite possibly the most beyowtifuuly cinematographically shot nature program ever made. This time around Attenborough does the commentary from the safety of his own conservatory (decking optional), but the TV series is none the poorer for it and the episodes thus ergo far have been superb.

Having said that, there's fuck all on the other side anyway..

Anyone else a fan?

Yesterday it was the turn of Fish to go under the Beeb's microscopic direction. Enjoy..
daren
Yeah, loving it.

Don't normally watch this kind of thing although I enjoy it when I watch it.

The meerkats last week were hilarious and the fish who cleaned the hippo's teeth this week were fascinating.

Daren, you have read the BN1 terms and conditions with regards to Meercats haven't you? it clearly states in Article 2, section 4b, paragraph 6.1 that, and I quote; "I agree in accordance with BN1 rules and regulations that all Meercat activity shown on the media outlet of televisuals shall not be deemed funny or amusing, and furthermore, anyone within earshot of BN1 members quoting any Meercat activity be it real or fictitious, in that thinking mentioning the word "Simples" is amusing shall be castigated in the strongest possible manner.

Life has been brill though hasn't it?

This is the type of shit I'm happy to pay the license fee for.

Life? The programme should be called 'Agog'. Up until now I haven't really been fussed about HD but Life is what HD was developed for, not so we can seen the 3 stripes clearer on Chelsea's socks.

I agree Mick, it makes it easier to pay the extra tenner a month.

To be honest Telf I haven't got a clue who makes Chelsea's kit, only that I'm sure it's not Patrick. We've got HD free for the first year. By that time Life will be finished and I won't be bothered wether I can make out the swoosh on Wayne (Kai, snigger) Rooney's shorts anyway.

We are watching Life now, I think HD is worth every penny to be honest, but then I do like to see the hairs on players legs.

The great thing about the interwebbery these days is that you can watch old BBC episodes on their iplayer (no relation to Gary the golfer or pod the mp3, it's a completely seperate entity invented by someone who's good on playing on words). The bit where the dragonfish are dancing in the shallow HD waters off Queensland is a thing of sheer beyowty isn't it?
