...is taking place on Thursday 10th December at the Kingshurst Labour Club with a kick off time of around 8.30,there are 4 parts to the quiz,with two generous clues

to each part, 80 questions in total all on tape to be idenitifed 10 male and 10 female singers, a B'ham 20,there are 20 numbers 1 hits from the 60's to the present decade and also 20 records with 'girls names' featured in or as the title of the record.

Will Puds and co. retain their crown..??,one or two teams have been busy in the transfer market to strengthen thier squads so it could go to the wire..??

An extra clue is that one of the male singers to be idenitifed is NOT some ancient singer who has churned out some of the most dire records in history,and as for Christmas his number 1's..

.!!,and if anybody didn't know which football team I supported before the quiz they will probably would know after...!!

Myself, Neil Barnett and his son Drew are definites, plus several "probables" have indicated attendnce.

This "ancient" singer managed to slip under the wire last year mate.

A bit thin on the ground this time ,as two teams left messages 'for whatever reason' they couldn't make the day before and another two who had indicated they would be there, just never turned up but still,the 'Odds and Sods' got a remarkable 79 out of 80 (maybe I made it a bit too easy this year..

) and Puds and his team finished in 2nd with 76..!!

They are only "easy" if you know the feckin answers mate!!!! Although we were slightly outnumbered by the victors, we were stumped on just a couple of questions, where guesses were the order of the day.
Nonetheless, we all had a good time and had to pour Lorraine in the car after

They are real ''odds 'n' sods' to be honest, usually there are 2 Blues fans, 3 Albion fans and a couple of Man.Utd fans who live in Shirley and still travel to virtually every home game and a fair few away..got one or two ideas for next year's quiz anyway..,glad you enjoyed yourself's anyway.
