I see that they're still insisting that F1 is a sport.
At least, unlike that Hamilton fella, Jenson Button does have a bit of a personality.I think he'll win.
Personally I'd give it to Cav,oozes both class and personality by the bucket load.

How can Button win it? He had the best car so went faster. No personality, just loads of wasted fuel. Andrew Strauss for me. he masterminded the Ashes victory without his two best players being fit for most of the series.

Where's Phil 'The Power' Taylor on this list I ask myself? There has never been a more dedicated and succesfull sportsperson in history, the man has concentration, talent and the physical strength to compete at the top by the oondle worth. and it's at the top that he's stayed for over 10 years.

He certainly did Panj, quite a feat for a Short-Bred horse.

Tony McCoy would surely be worth a crisp tenner, if only he were in the frame.

Darts isn't a sport Lobby so he doesn't qualify.

What is it then? Scotch mist?
Let's see you stand upon the oche in front of 6000 people underneath all those lights for over an hour and maintain ultimate concentration and mental and physical stamina. Horse racing's not a sport either then as it's the horses that do all the work the jockeys just sit in the saddle taking all the plaudits whilst Sea More Bourbons gets a sugar cube?

Physical stamina? Standing under a light throwing darts for over an hour?
Good job most of them have beer bellies to rest their beer or they would be knackered.
McCoy isn't in the final 10 either, 'cause that isn't a sport either I guess!

If driving a car is a sport then we're all entitled for a nomination, aren't we?. It's scalextric for rich folk is F1.
I'm with lobby on the Phil Taylor issue. What's the difference between playing darts and diving off a high board into a pool of water?
And as we cross the melling road for the first time, it's over to Shamrock....

It was a tongue in cheek comment...
The whole thing is a farce anyway as they mention the word personality.

To summarise the above
J Button 4/5 - drives a car in a posh sport for posh people
R Giggs 3/1 - is Welsh. Foreign
J Ennis 9/2 - who doesn't run and throw shit? Not a sport
D Haye 10/1 - I hit someone years ago. Not a sport
A Strauss 16/1 - South African so it doesn't count. Foreign
M Cavendish 40/1 - the bike does all the work. Not a sport.
B Tweddle 50/1 - has a hideous face. Doesn't count.
A Murray 100/1 - - is Scottish. Foreign.
P Idowu 100/1 - hair is ridiculous and too pierced, and basically jumps and shit. Not a sport.
T Daley 100/1 - shares a first initial and a surname with an ex viler, and jump fancily into a pool. Not a sport.
Based on my cultured studies, it got to be Roger Johnson then?
