Gone for a 'sporting chance' type bet on Premier Dane he's a bit one paced at times but still retains a modicum of ability so took 22's e/w on Betfair, but only a modest bet.

I got a call from a guy this morning who used to give a lot of tips when I was down in Somerset. He told me that David Pipe has a horse that will win at Sandown in the 4.15. He couldn't remember the name of the horse. I've just had a look and typically Pipe has 2 in the race. I'm assuming it's Consigliere. Thisguy has given me some good tips over the last few years, but the last 3 have not won. Backing this at early prices.

I also like the look of Suhayl Star in the 1.25 at Lingfield at 7/1. Could be a bit of a cavalry charge to the first bend. But a good position in midfield might just see him stay on past tired rivals.

Also going to have a few bets on the 6 nations championship.

France 6/4 outright winners and 9/2 for the grand slam.

I fancy there to be a draw or two this championship. Which are quite uncommon events in rugby. England-Wales 20/1.
