Because of the obsession with these two, I'm boycotting the footy on Sky today! I usually watch the first haf of the early kick off in the Prem, but I can't stomach the prospect of endless slo-mo replays of the teams shaking hands before the kicck off, and the agonised expressions and group hugs showing solidarity with under-pressure team mates!
The headline story on SS News all morning has quite literally been "Will they shake hands?"

I've gone for the more ambitious 33/1 on Terry to give Bridge a wedgy as thy leave he field, and 50's on a menage-a-trois with the delightful Miss Perroncel.

It's now looking like I'm going to be collecting a very handsome sum on France winning the 6 nations and grand slam in a couple of weeks time, with only England and Italy left to offer any feeble resistance.
I'm going to put half of my potental winnings on todays Racing Post Chase. Kilcrea Castle at 5/1. This is probably the biggest bet I'm going to have this year.
Another horse I'm looking at to run a good race today, also at Kempton is Alan King's Salden Licht at around 3's. Looked vey ood so far with 2 wins from 2, and looks like it can still improve.

Well mine didn't win, some bizarre races today in the heavy going, none more so than the 2.55 at Chepstow.
Just taken in score betting for Arsenal to come back against Stoke and do them 3-1. 12 to 1.

Well today I've put a few quid each way on Di Kaprio in the bumpers race at Doncaster 4.00,a strange sort of race for me to bet on but the selection didn't run too badly at all in two previous similar attempts and it could make the frame ,spread the bet between Betfair and one left on at SP. with Hills..

As I said I thought he run well in two two similar races and maybe the form as I seen it was better than most but I was really surprised at the SP.. thought he was 28/1 maybe 33/1 shot..!!, the price on Betfair was 69/1 when I took it early..but that's more than enough for Cheltenham..!

Gone for Oldrik in the 3.05 Sandown hasn't won for awhile but has run well of late and could well be in the shake up here though this is a very competitive handicap hurdle and you could probably make a case out for half-a-dozen ,took 16/1 each-way with Corals....so anybody else risking a few quid today then..?

Last bet prior to Cheltenham.
2.40 Ayr - Quito De Tresor (around 9/4). Also going to put this one into combination forecasts with Cast Iron Casey and Water Taxi.
Not often I back blues, but I'm going to take 2/1 for us today, far too big a price. Also looking for a best price on 3-0. Found 28/1. But hoping to find 33's.

Maybe you're right Jim, I think I'm letting this flaunting of my Western decadent lifestyle, whilst living amongst the poor is getting to my head.
A 3L beer tower and a pizza cost me less than a fiver last night, and this was in one of the plusher places.

Good to hear you're adapting so quickly to the lifestyle!
As for the goal scoring thingy, I keep hoping McLeish will release the players from the safety-first shackles that have served us so well. Especially now our place in the top division is secured!
But the more I hope for a goal-getting footloose and fancy-free performance, the more am I disappointed when we put up the shutters after going into a 1-0 lead!
We can but dream! (of a two-goal victory!)

Have we managed a win by more than a 2 goal margin this season?
I can't recall any, I know we've come close against Sunderland, Blackburn, Wigan and Portsmouth, but have each time conceded a late goal.

Scotty, we haven't even won one single game by a two-goal margin!
Every win has been by the odd goal, 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 (once!)
