Ozibrum's fantasmically awesome concert season draws to its climax tonight when I go and see 'aussie' legends of rock, AC/DC.

Wolfmother is the back up band. (although the front man pulled a Roger Waters and booted the others).

Should be awesome, but they have big shoes to fill, as in the past few years I have seen The Cure, Green Day and Pearl Jam live.

Review pics and hopefully a bootleg video to follow!

About 30 mins away from the start of their set, I live 7km away so I reckon there's a fair chance that if I go out into my yard I should be able to hear it given it'll be 110db!

Well it may just be me but I was left a fraction wanting. Angus Young was brilliant, but the rest of the band are a fraction to far past their best before dates. Bryan Johnson struggled his way through some of it. Again I say a saw 2 of the bands of my youth recently in Green Day and Pearl Jam, two bands who really engage their audience and I'm a picky.

Twas loud though at the end, ribcage shaking style. Mother in law heard it at marion also some 7km away.

Funny thing was at Magill all I could hear was crickets chirping but apparently they could hear it up at Stirling? Wind must've been blowing the other way methinks.

We could hear it in Kings Heath, Ray. Maybe you're just deaf?

I'm amazed AC/DC are still going to be honest. These old rock bands should retire gracefully, in some cases while they're still in the twenties..

I'm seeing Wolfmother in June, Ozi. They're support to Pearl Jam at this year's Hard rock calling in Hyde park. I bought their very impressive dayboo long player all those years ago but they've done nothing since have they?

Their first album was good panj. Since then the lead singer/songwriter/guitarist has done a Roger Waters and booted the drums/guitar.(Took the Wolfmother name though) I heard Joker and Woman whilst waiting for acca dakker. His wailing voice is everything it was, lets hope the old musos now departed didnt have any creatice input or one of the best aussie bands in a while my be cut short.

We had a ball at Pearl Jam. They still sound awesome. Ive got a video of the concert on my Bok of Faces page if you do that sort of thing. We had Ben harper and Relentless 7 backing up though. Was like 2 gigs for the price of one.

I saw ACDC in about '78. Whilst Bonn Scott was still alive. As I remember they were bloody good back then.
